The Carpenter-Carse Library parking lot will be sectioned off for bike riders to drop in and decorate bikes for the 4th, enjoy snacks,  visit with friends, and practice bike riding skills that may have grown rusty. No registration required.

Reptiles and Amphibians of Chittenden County

Calling all herp enthusiasts! Ever wonder which reptiles and amphibians can be found in our area? Herpetologist Kate Kelly will share some of the common reptiles and amphibians found in Chittenden County, especially Hinesburg. Her talk will cover species identification, natural history, and conservation. Kate works with the Vermont Reptile and Amphibian Atlas and is chair of the Hinesburg Conservation Commission.
